Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the identification of sources of supply for hardware and services to support our tactical propulsion product portfolio. This individual will work closely with the engineering product development and supply chain teams to identify potential suppliers and establish requirements for their qualification of hardware and services.

Essential Job Functions:

· Coordinates efforts to execute purchase orders and subcontracts varying in complexity and risk level, in accordance with policies and procedures

· Reviews, interprets, negotiates and administers subcontracts of varying complexity levels and subcontract risk types

· Develops and evaluates bid packages of varying types and complexity to meet business needs.

· Solicits and reviews proposals/quotations from vendors to support business needs.

· Monitors major acquisitions evaluating supplier quality, delivery and price

· Evaluates cost and pricing analyses

· Coordinate and review Teaming Agreements with major suppliers to establish stable and favorable pricing positions

· Review drawings and specifications to ensure product requirements are defined to suppliers

· Review Bills of Material to ensure accurate pricing is obtained

Position Requirements:

· Bachelors degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain studies some technical background and ability to read drawings is desired

· 5+ years of related experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and administering Subcontract Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Teaming Agreements, as well as various non-standard agreements, under DoD prime contracts and proposals is desired

· Outstanding leadership and motivation skills

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Strategic mindset

· Detail oriented

· Experienced in working with a General Counsel in ensuring that corporate risks apparent in draft terms and conditions are identified, and negotiated to mitigate risks to an acceptable degree in final agreements

· General understanding of the FARs and DFARS and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is desired
