Summary:

The HR Director will lead the organization’s Human Resources department, developing and executing strategies that attract, develop, and retain top talent. This individual will ensure HR practices align with organizational goals, foster a high-performing culture, and maintain compliance with all employment laws and regulations. The HR Director will also serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights to drive organizational growth and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
  • Drive initiatives to foster a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Oversee recruitment and selection strategies to attract diverse and high-caliber talent.
  • Design and implement retention programs, including career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Build employer branding strategies to position the company as an employer of choice.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions with a fair and consistent approach.
  • Champion a workplace environment that upholds the organization’s values and promotes a positive employee experience.

Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management

  • Oversee the design and implementation of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Develop and monitor performance management systems to drive accountability and recognize achievement.
  • Ensure pay equity and competitiveness through market analysis and benchmarking.

Learning & Development

  • Establish training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Partner with leaders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within their teams.

HR Operations & Analytics

  • Manage HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Leverage HR metrics to analyze trends, identify risks, and inform decision-making.
  • Lead HR audits and prepare reports for leadership and regulatory bodies as required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of [7-10] years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
