Division 10 - Drywall Protection Specialist
Tampa, FL
Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for a Drywall Protection Specialistfor a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for ensuring materials are specified, ordered, and installed according to all project requirements.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $21.50+ per hour based on experience
- Full time | Contract
- Monday - Friday | First shift
- Interpret and manage project specifications related to Division 10 protection specialties
- Coordinate with suppliers and specialty subcontractors for procurement and installation of products such as FRP, Acrovyn or Acrylic Wall Protection Systems, bathroom accessories, and grab bars
- Review architectural drawings and finish schedules to ensure proper placement, sizing, and code compliance
- Manage material submittals, samples, shop drawings, and lead time to align with project timelines
- Ensure installations meet specifications
- Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and general contractors
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, finishes or specialties
- Strong understanding of CSI Master
- Format specifications
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents
- Speak, read, and comprehend in English
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
