JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibility is to produce accounting related reports and associated data entry into the Company's software platforms for review by members of Senior Management. Expectation is minimum 30 hours per week with possible 40 hours during month end depending on the qualifications of the candidate. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

Financial Reporting: Preparation of preliminary Month End Financial Reporting for review by SBF Senior Management. Reports include: Balance Sheet, Profit/Loss Statement, Client Revenue Report, Collection Report

Accounting: Required daily items include: Preparation of Daily Reconciliation and Journal Entries, Prep of bank account activity into the Collections/Cash Balancing Report, Balance Sheet and Bank Account Reconciliation Report, daily journal entries for review

Accounts Payable: Preparation of Month End Commission Report, Entry of approved client expenses into Company's Factoring/ABL system upon confirmation of payment.

SBF Operations Support: Preparation of preliminary Weekly Collections, Loan and Participation Reports

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in Accounting/Finance preferred.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills required with experience in financial modeling and report creation a plus.

Ability to adapt quickly to industry specific software

4+ years experience with Accounting functions within a financial services, investment banking or commercial services firm; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
