We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Property Management company in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, including tenant ledgers and sales tax records, while ensuring accuracy and compliance. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in property management or commercial accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate tenant ledgers and ensure timely updates to financial records.
• Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions, including cash applications and collections.
• Handle billing and invoicing tasks with precision and adherence to company policies.
• Monitor and manage sales tax records to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel effectively.
• Manage commercial collections and establish communication with tenants regarding outstanding balances.
• Support audits and internal reviews by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping roles.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Yardi, MRI, Skyline, and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of property management and commercial accounting practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Familiarity with sales tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with tenants and internal teams.
