Education

· Finance related bachelor’s degree or other business-related experience required.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Minimum two years demonstrated experience in finance, budgeting, and analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, Charts, Advanced Formulas and Macros).
  • Advanced logic skills with knowledge of database interaction.
  • Prior costing, productivity, and revenue cycle experience a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office: PowerPoint and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills required.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Must have fundamental accounting knowledge and how the principals relate to building business plans and proformas (GAAP, accrual-based accounting).

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manager of Decision Support, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting finance and budgeting initiatives including:

  • Essential functions are to strategize for future growth to ensure scalability.
  • Design and deploy data table structures, forms, reports, and queries.
  • Ensure integrity of cost data, including scheduled uploads, downloads, and reconciliations.
  • Review allocations of expense to appropriate departments as necessary.
  • Update and maintain cost accounting software and allocation templates.
  • Assist with variance reports and explanations.
  • Support revenue calculations and journal entries for the monthly financial close process.
  • Assist Finance/Accounting team with other items and reports as required.
  • Month end financial review and analysis. Must have the ability to deep dive into the numbers and identify key drivers of financial performance.
