We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our growing team in sunny Boca Raton, Florida.
Job Description
This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for the overall shipping and receiving for IMPERX Imaging Products and Systems. The role requires a balance of collaboration with the administration, quality & engineering teams, and is an essential component to Imperx success.
Your key responsibilities will be
- Create shipping labels using the specified and requested carrier on Packing Slips
- Obtaining S.E.D’s using the US Government portal ACE
- Run End User checks for export compliance
- Coordination with Administration, Purchasing, Production and Quality Departments
- Review work orders to determine order picking activities and pick orders according to the specific instructions provided.
- Match order information in Work Orders with information on Invoices/Packaging Slips to ensure order fulfillment quality.
- Ascertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they pass quality controls.
- Record damaged or defective items and replace them according to company policies.
- Handle returns and exchanges by ensuring that internal RMA policy processes are followed properly.
- Ascertain that all outgoing shipments are properly labeled and that correlating documents are available with each shipment!
- Compare the amount and identification numbers of goods against orders.
- Post Weight
- Maintain file system of shipping records.
- Assemble paper and shipping corrugated boxes.
- Create all product packaging: box assembly, labeling and product software info.
- Assemble all camera mounts into proper packaging.
- Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers.
- Record keeping of orders shipped.
- Maintaining inventory on shipping supplies (boxes, bubble wrap, etc.).
- Maintain Shipping and Receiving area, while adhering to specific company safety measures
- Receive RMA products, enter products into database (RIMS)
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience in all aspects of shipping, export compliance, etc.
- Proficient in all major Microsoft applications, outlook, excel, word, etc.
- Ability to learn new programs and implement training procedures for department
- Desire to improve workflows and processes
- Ability to create written processes and procedures
- Organizational Skills is mandatory.

Preferred Industry Experience
- At least three years’ experience working in related shipping positions in technology-based business environments.
