Position Overview
The Design Specialist will work directly with homeowners, designers, and builders to create stunning interior spaces using curated tile collections. This role requires a professional with strong interior design expertise, exceptional client service skills, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings and construction blueprints.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide clients through the tile selection and design process, offering expert design advice and material recommendations.
- Collaborate with homeowners, builders, and interior designers to develop cohesive design solutions that align with project goals and budgets.
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, floor plans, and elevations to ensure accurate design layouts and material quantities.
- Prepare design presentations and material specifications.
- Maintain organized client files, design boards, and project documentation.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Support the overall showroom experience—ensuring displays are attractive, samples are well-organized, and client appointments are professional and productive.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design, showroom design, or related field.
- Proven experience working one-on-one with clients on residential design projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and architectural drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
