We are seeking an accomplished onsite Shipping and Receiving Coordinator who will be responsible for providing operational support and ensuring company's regulatory compliance and on-time delivery. This role is responsible for assisting in shipping and receiving operations to ensure compliance within organizational requirements, processes, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule or monitor pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials.
- Scanning, renaming, organizing and filing of all incoming invoices, packing slips, and important documents.
- Issue shipping instructions and provide routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated.
- Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, or equipment and facilitate testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements.
- Maintain receiving and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program and operational policies and procedures.
- Manage all inbound and outbound shipments and related activities including movement of pallets, stacking of boxes, and processing all orders and warehouse transfer.
- Perform incoming inspections and maintain records in accordance with material control procedures.
- Manage raw goods inventory, control and maintain accurate tracking, perform inventory counts as necessary.
- Process requests and maintain records for return material authorization related to shipping.
Education Requirements & Previous Experience
- High school diploma, or 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Good computer skills, prior experience of the Microsoft Office suite is a must.
