Job Summary:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Billing Coordinator / Customer Service Representative for a local client in Fort Pierce, Florida. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate service billing while providing exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will collaborate with both service and accounting teams to help maintain operational efficiency and outstanding client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:Service Billing:

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices for completed service jobs

  • Review technician work orders, timecards, and material usage to ensure accurate billing

  • Track open service jobs and follow up on missing or incomplete documentation

  • Resolve billing questions and discrepancies in collaboration with service managers and technicians

Customer Service:

  • Handle incoming service-related phone calls and inquiries

  • Update customers on service appointments, job status, and scheduling

  • Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account notes and service records

Team Collaboration:

  • Confirm job completion with the service department prior to invoicing

  • Work with the accounting team on invoice reconciliation and support collections

  • Assist with month-end billing cycles and reporting tasks

  • Suggest and implement improvements to billing accuracy and service workflows

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in billing, administrative support, or customer service (experience in the service industry preferred)

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Experience with billing or service software is required
