Material Handler
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Material Handler to join our client's team. The Material Handler will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse, production facility, or other designated area. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $16 /hr
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Experience: 2+ Years
Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and move materials within the facility using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.

Prepare and stage materials for production, assembly, or shipping.

Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.

Organize and maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is a plus.

Recent Experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment is preferred.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
