Position Overview
The Tax Supervisor will oversee and manage tax compliance and consulting services for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax regulations and laws. This role is pivotal in providing strategic tax planning and support to enhance the overall tax efficiency for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior staff in the preparation and review of tax returns for S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWI).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and timeliness in all submissions.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities and to resolve complex tax issues.
- Prepare and review complex tax filings and compliance documents, including federal and state income tax returns, partnership returns, and other necessary filings.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advice to clients, assisting them in tax-efficient decision-making and structuring of transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive service to clients, including advisory services and audit support.
