We are excited to share this opportunity we are recruiting for an iInternational high-technology group manufacturing for aerospace and defense industry.
Excellent benefits and opportunity for flexible hours to work 4, 10 hr days and off Friday. 10 days off in December for holidays in addition to your PTO. Relocation package available. Commodity Manager role open as well.
We are seeking a Jr. Commodity Manager. This person will work on a team of 3 and will have a lot of opportunity for cross-training. They will work with smaller client companies and number of suppliers and have the opportunity to advance to Commodity Manager with larger accounts.
In this role you will be responsible to define the purchasing strategy for the Company and Division focusing on circuit breakers, generators, rotors manufacturing, testing and repair.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Purchasing
- Minimum of 3 years procurement/purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strategic responsibility for procurement experience
- knowledge of purchasing KPI and tools (Spend, Performance Scorecard, Contract Coverage, Master Price List, ERP (SAP a plus)
- Project Management skills
- Abillit to work effectively across cultural and geographical borders
- Good negotiation skills, able to grow and maintain successful supplier relationships
- Strong Excel and Access skills with data minin experience
