** CONTROLLER POSITION IN NORTH PALM BEACH, FL**

We are seeking an individual with a strong accounting & financial background to join our team! Well established, interesting multifaceted family office with an informal atmosphere and flexibility.

Controller Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee accounting & financial aspects of a 70+-year-old real estate investment and family office management business
  • LLC/Partnership and investments accounting for multiple interrelated entities
  • Prepare financial reports and statements
  • Perform internal audits of LLC/partnership entities
  • Provide accounting support to LLC/partnership entities
  • Assist with preparation and review of tax returns
  • Manage multiple accounting projects and workflows
  • Work closely with CEO, CFO, COO & CPA firm

Qualifications:

  • Experience in accounting for acquisitions and managing all aspects of real estate investing a big plus, however not required
  • Construction accounting experience helpful
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and be self-motivated with minimal amount of supervision
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • QuickBooks, Excel and Word experience required. Appfolio, Sage, Salesforce and document management a plus
  • Insurance knowledge a plus
  • CPA a plus but not required
