Job Description

Overview:

The Sales Assistant will directly support the Managing Director of Healthcare, helping to streamline communication, candidate engagement, and client management to drive team profitability.


Responsibilities:

  • Sort, prioritize, and manage Ron’s emails, flagging urgent matters and ensuring timely responses and follow-up.
  • Draft, send, and track client communications on Ron’s behalf, maintaining a professional tone and consistent outreach, specifically with AHSA, AMN, Vituity, and any other VMS accounts brought in.
  • Manage candidate engagement in conjunction with the Credentialing Team and Recruiting Team, ensuring smooth communication, proper document handling, and that candidates remain actively managed through each stage.
  • Track candidate activity and pipeline movement; update records to support accurate reporting and team visibility.
  • Monitor candidate timelines (onboarding, credentialing, start dates) and escalate issues or delays proactively.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, and schedules for Ron to ensure alignment with client and candidate priorities.
  • Follow up on outstanding action items with both internal team members and external contacts to keep processes moving forward.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed to allow Ron to focus on strategic growth and client relationships.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative support, sales support, or client services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using CRM or ATS systems (Bullhorn a plus).
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and proactively solve problems.
