Busser – Job Description

The Busser supports service execution at SEIA by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and flow throughout the dining room. This role plays a key part in ensuring tables are properly set, cleared, and reset in alignment with service pacing, allowing Captains and Server Assistants to deliver a seamless and elevated guest experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly and accurately in coordination with service flow and pacing.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces throughout service.

• Support Server Assistants and Captains with table maintenance, water service, and bread service as directed.

• Monitor table readiness and communicate clearly with the service team to support efficient turnover.

• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of floors, chairs, and surrounding areas during and after service.

• Support opening and closing procedures as assigned.

• Uphold SEIA service standards, presentation, and hospitality expectations at all times.

Your Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment preferred, but not required.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.

• Ability to take direction and work collaboratively as part of a service team.

• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• A genuine interest in hospitality and professional growth.
