We are currently seeking aWarehouse Associateto join our growing organization. This position is primarily responsible for loading and unloading truck containers; and stocking, picking, packing, and verifying shipment counts and serial numbers.


This is a full-time, on-site hourly position based out of our Fort Myers, FL, Corporate HQ. The hours are typically 8:00am 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, but can vary depending on incoming/outgoing carrier schedules. Candidates must be flexible with work schedules and be willing to arrive early and/or stay late as needed. Candidates must also have a high school diploma or equivalent with one (1) year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, and/or training.Forklift experience preferred not required.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Safely load and unload incoming / outgoing shipments from trucks with forklift and other equipment.

  • Product stocking and shelving.

  • Pallet maintenance.

  • Pick, pack, and stage orders.

  • Review and verify orders.

  • Identify discrepancies and inform appropriate team members of said issues, errors and/or back orders.

  • Maintain proper paperwork including, but not limited to, customer orders, pull sheets, informational/warranty documents as applicable.

  • Maintain tools to complete necessary tasks.

  • Assist with inventory maintenance tasks as requested (I.E. cycle counts, physical inventories, etc.)
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must have working knowledge of tools, cutting equipment, common appliances, and devices.

  • Must have manual dexterity, be in good physical condition, have good balance and strength, and be able to safely lift up to (50) fifty pounds.

  • Must be able to successfully complete Merits Forklift Driver Training & Safety Course / Certification within the first 30 days of hire.

  • Must have good customer service skills and be team-oriented.

  • Must have good problem-solving and organizational skills.

  • Must have flexibility with work schedule and be able to work overtime, arrive early, and/or stay late according to business / project needs).

  • Must have basic computer proficiencies.

  • Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record.

  • Must speak, read, and write English and have effective communication skills.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
