This role is located in the Sarasota-Bradenton area and will be Hybrid after onboarding period.
Our client is small but growing tax accounting firm dedicated to providing personalized, accurate, and timely tax services to individuals, small businesses, and self-employed professionals. One of the most appealing aspects of this firm and opportunity is the absence of long hours during tax season. The hours are normal business hours.

They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing federal and state tax returns, advising clients on tax planning strategies, and ensuring compliance with the latest tax laws. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a small team environment and enjoys working closely with clients.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA or EA certification preferred (or working toward certification)

2+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax codes

Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
