About the Position
This position will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes by leveraging data analytics and our resources. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide valuable insight that drive informed decision-making and promotes our overall supply chain efficiency and provides reliable information for our operations.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources including our ERP systems, databases, and external datasets.
· Develop and maintain databases for storing and organizing supply chain data.
· Conduct advanced data analysis using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in our operation.
· Interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insight and recommendations for process improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop accurate data based on historical, market trends and other relevant factors.
· Define and track key performance indicators (KPI) for our operations.
· Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
· Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
· Work closely with stakeholders to implement process changes that enhance operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
· Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions or any other issue and provides insight to prevent future occurrences.
· Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective action plans and improve overall supply chain resilience.
· Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data analytic solutions with our existing systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics and or a related discipline.
· Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in a supply chain or logistic environment.
· Proficient in data analysis tools and programing languages such as PowerBI, Fabric, and/or macros.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
· Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and best practices.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Specific Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite of product.
· Knowledge in Power BI application.
· The ability to navigate our project software application.
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Multi-tasking and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal with management, co-workers, and external parties.
