Position: Tax Accountant
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Contract Duration: 03 Months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $47/Hr to $52/Hr (W2)
Summary:
This position supports the tax accounting function for an American multinational heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, refrigeration, and fire and security equipment corporation, focusing on quarterly and annual close activities. The role involves preparing current tax provision entries, reviewing FAS 109 provisions for foreign entities, and ensuring compliance with ASC740 standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax accounting, provision computation, and the use of tax software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quarterly and annual close processes and prepare current tax provision entries for partnerships and Otis NJ/NSAA, including dividends and foreign tax credits.
- Review FAS 109 provisions for foreign entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with tax accounting review in accordance with ASC740 requirements.
- Utilize tax software to perform and review tax provision computations and submissions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant tax accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of ASC740 and FAS 109 standards.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
- Ability to manage complex tax provision processes and meet tight deadlines.
