Mariner Sands Country Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafeteria Cook to join our culinary team. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards

- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed throughout service periods (including proper storage and labeling)

- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent dining experiences

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a cafeteria or similar food service environment

- Knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation standards

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

- Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus

Requirements:

Qualifications

•High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

•Previous cooking experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, or food service environment preferred.

•Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.

•Strong teamwork and communication skills.

•Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
