POSITION SUMMARY

The individual in the role is responsible for technical and sales training as well as customer, project and field support for WAI customers across all market channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct technical and sales training sessions at customer sites, trade shows, and sales meetings
  • Plan and coordinate all training sessions and schedules in collaboration with customer representatives
  • Collaborate with customer commercial sales managers to support their efforts in promoting and educating clients on WAI products
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions to educate customers on technical and non-technical aspects, including Q&A sessions
  • Provide problem-solving support to address customer issues related to WAI products during customer visits
  • Stay updated on customer commercial sales programs and promotions
  • Cultivate and maintain ongoing business relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships
  • Promote a collaborative work environment, encouraging effective communication and cross-training initiatives to enhance team productivity, versatility, and skill development
  • Undertakes additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by management

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or related field
  • 5 years’ experience working directly within the automotive industry – parts manufacturer or distributor, service departments, dealerships, vehicle maintenance environment; Or combination of equivalent education and experience equivalent
  • Experience includes familiarity with vehicle maintenance and diagnosis, knowledge of OE or aftermarket components
  • Ability to travel 75% of time
  • Ability to build mutually beneficial partnerships with customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.
  • Exhibits professional experience working collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates skill in writing routine reports and correspondence
  • Possesses advanced verbal communication skills, with the ability to address groups of customers or employees in an organization
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in work
  • Displays diligence in completing tasks in a timely manner, utilizing effective time management skills
