Loyalty MGA is seeking a PIP Claims Supervisor to lead and oversee a team of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims adjusters, ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of PIP claims. The PIP Claims Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily operations, providing guidance and training to staff, and ensuring that claims are handled in accordance with company policies, state-specific regulations, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and a strong understanding of PIP claims management.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
• Supervise and mentor a team of PIP claims adjusters, ensuring efficient claim processing and high-quality customer service.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to improve team performance and productivity.
Claims Oversight:
• Monitor and review PIP claims to ensure proper documentation, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and state PIP regulations.
• Handle complex or escalated PIP claims and make final decisions on settlements or denials.
Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement in the PIP claims process and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that PIP claims are processed within required timelines and service level agreements.
Collaboration & Reporting:
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., underwriting, legal, medical review) to resolve claims issues and ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
• 5+ years in PIP claims management or a similar role.
• Proven leadership experience managing a team of PIP adjusters.
Skills:
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of PIP claims processes, state-specific laws, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management software.
• Excellent communication skills.
