Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing tax preparation and advisory services for our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations while maximizing tax efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and enhance tax efficiencies.
- Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on tax law changes that may impact clients' tax situations.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information for tax preparation.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members in tax preparation and review processes.
- Prepare and review tax-related correspondence and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and other tax preparation software.
- Strong understanding of individual and business tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- CPA Eligible preferred, with plans to obtain CPA certification.
