Salary: Unpaid internship. Some possible pay depending on past experience/skills – open to discussion. Travel, food, and board expenses are covered. Candidates can learn on the job and be part of the XINSURANCE media team.

Job Description:

The Live Streaming Events Intern will work with the production and marketing teams to execute high-quality live streaming events on various digital platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in the technical and creative aspects of live event production, from pre-production planning to on-air execution and post-stream analysis.

1. Production support: Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of audio, video, and lighting equipment for live broadcasts. Operate the video switcher, cameras, and streaming software during events.

1. Event execution: Provide technical and operational support during live streams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted broadcasts. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly as they arise.

1. Content creation and management: Collaborate on creating graphics, pre-recorded video clips, and other multimedia assets for use during live events. Publish and organize media on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and other social media.

1. Analytics and reporting: Assist with tracking and analyzing performance metrics from live streams to inform future content strategy.

1. Pre-event coordination: Support the preparation process by helping create scripts, production timelines, and setting up equipment checks.

Qualifications and skills

1. Familiarity with live streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Live, or Facebook Live.

1. Working knowledge of streaming software and broadcast production basics preferred, but not required.

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.

1. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

1. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

1. Flexibility to work during events, which may include evenings or weekends.
