Job Description:
The Live Streaming Events Intern will work with the production and marketing teams to execute high-quality live streaming events on various digital platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in the technical and creative aspects of live event production, from pre-production planning to on-air execution and post-stream analysis.
- Production support: Assist with the setup, operation, and teardown of audio, video, and lighting equipment for live broadcasts. Operate the video switcher, cameras, and streaming software during events.
- Event execution: Provide technical and operational support during live streams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted broadcasts. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly as they arise.
- Content creation and management: Collaborate on creating graphics, pre-recorded video clips, and other multimedia assets for use during live events. Publish and organize media on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and other social media.
- Analytics and reporting: Assist with tracking and analyzing performance metrics from live streams to inform future content strategy.
- Pre-event coordination: Support the preparation process by helping create scripts, production timelines, and setting up equipment checks.
Qualifications and skills
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Live, or Facebook Live.
- Working knowledge of streaming software and broadcast production basics preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work during events, which may include evenings or weekends.
