Ahoy Matey! Arrr' you ready for the battle of the century at Pirates Voyage Dinner and Show? We are seeking individuals to join our team as Server Assistants.
Part-time positions available. On-the-job training provided.
Hours depend on the show schedule, but will always include afternoons and evenings.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare for dinner service by assisting arena servers with set up.
- Be the communicator between kitchen staff and arena staff to ensure the correct amount of food is ready to serve, in the correct sections.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to prevent any food cross-contamination.
- Ensure all food equipment is functioning properly for proper temperatures.
- Understand food allergies and what options are available. Be vigilant when serving any guest with a food allergy.
- Assist with cleaning table & section when dinner service is complete.
- Remove any dinnerware and get to the appropriate location in the kitchen.
- The beverage attendant position may require cross-training in serving duties.
Qualification Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must obtain a valid Florida alcohol server certificate.
- Education requirements include a high school diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
- Continuous walking on level ground as well as up and down steps.
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and balancing.
- Frequent lifting and carrying trays with beverages, food, and used dishes.
- Frequent pushing and pulling of racks, whether full or empty.
