Position Overview
As a Server Assistant (Busser) at Mika, you play a key support role on the front-of-house team. You’ll work closely with servers and management to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient dining room environment. Your attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction will help ensure the highest standards of service are delivered at all times.
Key Responsibilities

Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and floor.

Refill water glasses, replace silverware, and anticipate guest needs without being asked.

Support the flow of service by running food and communicating with the server team.

Handle glassware, dishware, and table settings with care and attention to cleanliness.

Assist with preparing tables for service (polishing glassware, folding napkins, etc.).

Respond to guest requests with urgency and professionalism.

Work collaboratively with all front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure a smooth and elevated guest experience.
Qualifications

Previous experience as a busser or support staff in a fast-paced or fine dining environment preferred.

Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and attention to detail.

Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

Team player with a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
