Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support a high-volume manufacturing operation in Hialeah. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels across raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. The ideal candidate has strong system experience, thrives in fast-paced environments, and understands the flow of inventory within a manufacturing setting.
This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and hands-on involvement with inventory control, reconciliation, and system accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor inventory movements including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and shipments
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in Microsoft Dynamics
- Investigate variances and work closely with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve issues
- Support production planning by ensuring material availability and accurate stock levels
- Oversee inventory locations, labeling, and bin accuracy within the warehouse
- Assist with physical inventories and audits as required
- Identify process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and system efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and manufacturing best practices
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Hands-on experience managing raw goods and finished goods
- Strong working knowledge of inventory systems / ERP platforms (Microsoft Dynamics strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliation
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including flexibility as operational needs change
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-volume or multi-shift manufacturing operations
- Prior exposure to audits and physical inventory processes
- Strong system navigation and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with warehouse, production, and management teams
