Job Title: Contract-to-Hire Dealership Accounting Clerk
Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Pay Range: $23–$28 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)

About the Role:
A well-established automotive dealership in West Palm Beach is looking for a skilled and reliable Accounting Clerk with prior dealership accounting experience to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow within a dynamic dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily accounting transactions for vehicle sales, service, and parts
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and dealership schedules
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of accounting experience in an automotive dealership is required
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-store or high-volume dealership operations
- Knowledge of DMV paperwork and vehicle titling processes
Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
