Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a proven track record in the Food Manufacturing industry? Do you have a passion for the science behind ingredients and a knack for building strong business relationships? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking an Ingredient Sales Account Manager for the Southeast region. This is a unique chance to join a leading company in the ingredient distribution industry, where you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining our position as a market leader.
Responsibilities:
As an Ingredient Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
1. Managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts in the Southeast region, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
2. Prospecting and developing new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other innovative sales strategies.
3. Understanding and selling complex ingredient solutions to clients across various sectors in the manufacturing industry.
4. Collaborating with the internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of our products and services.
5. Keeping up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
6. Negotiating contracts, discussing prices, and closing deals to achieve sales targets.
7. Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
8. Participating in trade shows, industry events, and conferences to represent the company and build brand awareness.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven track record in distribution, supplement, and chemical sales.
3. Demonstrable experience in account management, business development, prospecting, and cold calling.
4. Strong understanding of the ingredient market and the ability to sell complex ingredient solutions.
5. Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
8. A results-driven mindset, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
9. Willingness to travel within the Southeast region.
10. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
