Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Janitorial Operations Manager to lead and support cleaning operations across a diverse portfolio that includes commercial, governmental, aviation, and healthcare environments. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on client satisfaction, operational excellence, safety, and financial performance.

The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on people leader who can effectively manage supervisors and managers, build strong client relationships, and ensure consistent service quality across multiple sites. This role partners closely with the Director of Operations and plays a critical role in driving operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Quality Control:

  • Oversee daily janitorial operations across assigned accounts and facilities
  • Establish, implement, and enforce quality control standards through regular inspections and audits
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
  • Identify operational risks and implement corrective action plans to maintain service excellence

Client Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for high-touch and key client accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, professional client relationships
  • Proactively address concerns and ensure service expectations are consistently met or exceeded
  • Participate in client meetings, site walkthroughs, and performance reviews

Leadership & Training:

  • Lead, coach, and support supervisors and managers while maintaining visibility with frontline teams
  • Ensure effective onboarding, training, and ongoing development of staff
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and professionalism

Financial & Administrative Management:

  • Manage labor budgets and support cost-control initiatives
  • Review staffing levels, schedules, and operational efficiency
  • Assist with forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Oversee inventory and ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies

Scheduling & Coverage:

  • Support rotating schedules and ensure adequate coverage across all shifts
  • Respond to operational issues, emergencies, or escalations as needed

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
  • Previous management experience in janitorial, facilities, or operations environments
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage teams across multiple sites
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and operational compliance
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience working in healthcare, aviation, governmental, or other regulated environments

Job Type: Full Time

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000
