Schedule: Must be flexible; shifts vary between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sunday through Saturday (40 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $25-28 per hour
Employment Type: Contract – Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Expected Employment Duration - 1 year +

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Drone Operator to support daily operations involving advanced drone technology and automated launch/landing equipment ("nests"). This role requires hands-on technical work, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety and precision in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct equipment inspections before and after each drone operation to ensure safety and readiness.
- Perform daily start-of-day and end-of-day system checks and maintenance tasks.
- Replace equipment components as needed to ensure continued performance and compliance.
- Actively participate in crew briefings to coordinate operations and address mission needs.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the on-site pilot-in-command or designated flight supervisor during operations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with field operations, aviation, mechanical systems, or unmanned aerial systems (UAS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and adapting to changing weather and operational conditions.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Must hold valid driver's license. Travel between sites is required.
- Must hold valid Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification.

- This is a 100% onsite position located in Tampa, FL.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
