LEAD COMPUTER TECHNICIAN - We are seeking an experienced Lead Computer Technician with a passion for the IT Industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer hardware, networking, hands on repairs, desktop support, and customer service. This role is an essential part of our company.
As a Computer Technician, you will be communicating and working directly with our clients. You will be responsible for repairing a variety of computer hardware and software issues, troubleshooting network issues, as well as monitoring our Managed Services clients remotely, onsite and inshop.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking, hardware and software issues.
- Provide technical support remotely and well as onsite and inshop.
- Resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Take good notes that our clients can refer to and understand.
- Be able to multitask in order to get repairs completed quickly.
- Must prioritize incoming work and follow the directions laid out for you.
- Utilize tools such as Syncro for tracking service requests and incidents.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of computer networks, ensuring optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical needs and provide solutions.
- Conduct regular maintenance on computer systems to prevent issues before they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance service delivery.
- Document all technical procedures, solutions, and updates in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- 2+ years Experience in IT support with a focus on customer service.
- 2+ years Building PCs and Gaming Computers
- 2+ years Quickbooks and other business software sharing and configurations.
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and LAN configurations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues .
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Syncro and remote software such as Splashtop is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
