Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Call Center Rep Compensation
- The pay for this position is $20.28 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Call Center Rep Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
- Training is 53 days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST with mandatory 100% attendance and no scheduled time off
- Fully remote position (never onsite)
- All training, interviews, and meetings are on-camera via webcam
- Must have a private home office with a door for HIPAA compliance
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Call Center Rep Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a healthcare call center environment
- Support Medicare and pharmacy benefit processes, including prior authorizations and appeals
- Accurately document case activity in multiple software systems
- Meet or exceed productivity, turnaround time, and quality standards
- Communicate resolutions to providers or beneficiaries via phone and written correspondence
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company service policies
- Participate in cross-training to perform multiple roles within the department
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Call Center Rep Requirements
- At least 2 years of healthcare and/or healthcare call center experience, including problem resolution, business writing, quality improvement, and customer service
- At least 6 months of experience working in a virtual role without a supervisor onsite
- At least 6 months of high-volume call center experience
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work CST hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST)
- Wired internet connection (no Wi-Fi) with minimum 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds (screenshot required)
- Webcam and comfort being on camera for all training, meetings, and team interactions
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Call Center Rep Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PBM (pharmacy benefit management) or pharmaceutical-related work
- Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, or related field
