Job DescriptionDescription:
Plan, prioritize, coordinate, and monitor activities in the department to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient service. Manage, train, and evaluate staff to achieve and maintain department standards. Develop and deliver programs that support business needs. Oversee all aspects of the Revenue Cycle Management claims adjudication and payment process to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient accounts receivable management.
Essential Functions
Lead projects for the division from inception to completion
Provide business partners and key executives with customer perspective and facilitate timely response to complex business challenges and opportunities
Recommend and implement procedural and systems changes to deliver quality service to internal and external customers
Manage business solutions that anticipate and resolve complex issues related to all aspects of claims payments, including production, operations, planning, staffing, and budgeting
Establish and monitor production goals, policies, procedures, and systems related to all aspects of day-to-day operations
Develop staff to successfully achieve all goals and objectives
Work with management and staff to continuously improve skills and processes
Prioritize, assign, and distribute work to ensure responsibility is at the appropriate level and team member’s skills are developed to support business needs
Identify and prioritize training needs and coordinate training programs that address the unit’s business needs
Ensure effective communications are maintained within the department and externally where appropriate. Inform employees of department plans and progress. Conduct employee meetings and feedback sessions on a regular basis
Coordinate with other units/departments to facilitate special requests, coordinate tasks, and resolve escalated issues
Requirements:
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a business-related environment
In-depth knowledge of medical claims processing
In-depth knowledge of federal and state claim regulatory policies
In-depth knowledge of business systems and applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with all levels of employees and management
Clean credit history as reported by credit report
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job duties
Preferred
Candidates who reside in Florida, Georgia, Texas, or North Carolina
Working Conditions
The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.

The compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets.
