At Bonita Title, our mission is simple: Ensure every transaction moves from open to close with zero surprises, delays, or missed steps. As a Title Processor on our team, you’ll play a key role in upholding that standard by keeping every file clean, complete, and compliant — and every stakeholder informed.
Compensation:
$45,000 - $65,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Review incoming title files from the order entry team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Gather missing or updated information from clients, agents, and lenders to prepare files for closing
- Use title software to order estoppel letters, lien searches, payoffs, and other essential documentation
- Review title commitments prepared by underwriters for accuracy and actionable requirements
- Follow the title commitment’s instructions step-by-step to identify and resolve title issues
- Examine title searches, lien reports, and estoppel letters to flag potential problems or delays
- Communicate directly with realtors, lenders, and clients to clear issues and obtain required documents
- Maintain accurate, detailed notes and file records throughout the title process
- Pass the completed file to the closer and provide ongoing support to resolve any questions or issues that arise prior to settlement
- Deliver exceptional customer service through timely, professional, and friendly communication
- Keep all stakeholders informed of file progress and key updates in a clear and proactive manner
Qualifications:
- Years of experience (1-3) with real estate transactions or title processing, or as a title company pre-processor or mortgage loan processor is essential
- Superb research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are desired
- Computer proficient with numerous programs including MS Office is needed
- Notary public certification is not required but is an asset
- Some college is helpful; high school diploma or equivalent is required
