We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Recruiting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in talent acquisition and human resources, with a focus on building relationships and managing the recruitment process from start to finish. This role requires excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a keen understanding of various recruiting platforms and tools. The Recruiting Specialist will play a crucial role in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent to meet the organization's needs.

Responsibilities

The Recruiter Specialist (Independent Contractor) who work under the direct supervision of the company’s President/CEO will have the responsibility to:

1- Build and nurture strong, positive relationships with existing clients through regular meetings to understand and fulfill their staffing needs.

2- Proactively identify and secure new client accounts to expand our service offerings and grow the company.

3- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns and consistently providing excellent service.

4- Plans and fill out recruiting requisitions by meeting with managers to discuss recruitment needs.

5- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

6- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, social media, job boards, and other internet sites.

7- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, using various means, such as social media and job sites.

8- Use skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates

9- Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that the company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn and social media)

10- Contacts potential applicants through various means, including phone, text, email, social media, or job boarding messaging

11- Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviews applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

12- Arrange candidate interviews or tours by coordinating with management schedules; may escort applicants to client sites.

13- Skill markets top candidates to branch manager.

14- Completes new hire orientations and employee onboarding.

15- Participates in branch job fairs.

16- Meets weekly Firebird Recruiting’s targets.

17- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.

18- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

19- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

20- Visits local clients as needed to understand openings, hold job fairs, or conduct tours

21- Conducting (drug screening and/or background check) report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in technical or executive roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively.
  • Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and tools, including Salesforce, Kronos, UltiPro, or Taleo.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on relationship management.
  • Ability to conduct research effectively to identify potential candidates in niche markets.
  • Knowledge of training & development practices as they relate to talent acquisition.
  • Experience in employee evaluation processes and employee relations is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of contracts related to employment agreements is beneficial.
