Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Remote (ET Preferred)
Type: Contract Only
CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to join a high-performing team within a leading pharmaceutical organization. This is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to take ownership of cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting, while driving process improvements that have a meaningful impact on the business.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary accounting contact for cash and banking transactions
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in bank statements and reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries and maintain account and variance analyses
- Support internal and external audits
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Lead and guide team members in accounting practices
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, variance analysis, and cash accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with JDE or SAP general ledger systems preferred
- Managerial experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $45/hr. ± BOE
- Remote work with ET preference
