Summary
The Process Order Expediter is responsible for making sure all the daily Hit List and Sample work orders are processed in a timely manner.
Duties:
- Coordinate with each Production department the flow of the HL and SWE orders to be processed on time.
- Verify the status of the order and follow up with each department to move it through the production process.
- Provides communication and proper documentation of packing slips.
- Assists Customer Service to update them on order status.
- Performs the steps in JESTA, step receipt for shipment process for all HT and SWE manufacturing sales orders.
- Reviews shipment report to ensure all step receipts (1,2 & 3) have been completed for every SOFs processed during the current and prior day.
- Provides back up for the Department for data entry, scanning, assembly and shipping.
- Responsible for working according to the company’s safety and quality standards.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
§ High school diploma or its equivalent.
§ Two years of experience in the data entry field.
§ Computer Knowledge (Microsoft Office).
§ Ability to operate various work-processing software, spreadsheets, and database programs.
§ Must read, write and understand Basic English.
§ Team work ability.
§ Attention to details.
§ Equivalent or combination of experience, training and/or education.
§ Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function for this position.
Physical Demands:
- Sitting and/or standing for long periods.
- Dexterity and coordination to handle raw materials and finished products, files and single pieces of paper; occasional lifting of items weighing up to (25) twenty-five pounds such as files, stacks of paper, rolls of labels; references and other materials.
- Walking from place to place within the office, warehouse, and the production floor;
- Reaching for items above and below desk level.
- Strength, dexterity, coordination and vision to use keyboard and video display terminal for prolonged periods.
- Legal Requirement: Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) to comply with federal contracting regulations. Must be a US person as defined by ITAR.
- Language Proficiency: All candidates must be fluent in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write at a professional level.
