We are looking for an experienced and strategic Vice President or Director of Finance to oversee the financial operations of a major business unit within our organization. This executive-level position requires a hands-on leader who can drive financial performance, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate effectively across departments. Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the financial performance of a key business unit, including full profit and loss (P& L) accountability.
- Partner with leadership and operational teams to improve margins, enhance inventory efficiency, and boost overall business performance.
- Lead the creation and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to provide actionable insights.
- Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) that align financial objectives with operational goals.
- Support growth strategies, capital planning efforts, and high-level decision-making processes.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, compliance standards, and risk management protocols.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Collaborate across various departments, including operations, commercial, and executive teams, to drive business success.
Qualifications
- Senior-level finance leadership experience with strong P& L ownership
- Background in asset-heavy and/or inventory-driven environments preferred
- Hands-on, operational mindset with the ability to influence across the business
- Strong judgment, leadership presence, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a structured, performance-driven, in-office environment
