We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong payroll processing experience, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to manage sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication skills to support both payroll and broader HR functions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review, process, monitor, and manage payroll activities.

  • Gather and verify data related to employee payroll and hours worked.

  • Review and validate time and attendance records.

  • Handle tax withholdings, prepare payroll tax reports, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Ensure all hours, benefits, and deductions are logged properly, and payroll accounts remain balanced.

  • Provide Human Resource support services as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain and update employee records.

  • Facilitate communication between management, department heads, and employees.

  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.

  • Manage employee and client databases and prepare reports as required.

  • Perform other general office and administrative duties as directed by executive management or ownership.

Requirements and Skills:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and management.

  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.

  • Required: Experience with ADP Workforce Now.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
