Warehouse Manager
A forward-thinking producer and distributor of premium frozen desserts, including artisanal ice creams, refreshing sorbets, creamy yogurts, and other gourmet treats.
Position Overview
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including the management of staff, inventory control, shipping and receiving processes, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. This role is key to maintaining efficient supply chain operations and ensuring the highest standards of service and safety within the warehouse. HANDS ON position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations and staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee inventory management and control to minimize losses and ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving functions to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Implement and maintain food safety standards and compliance within the warehouse.
- Train and evaluate warehouse staff on safety procedures and operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage warehouse budgets, including labor and operational costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline warehouse processes and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management practices and tools.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Benefits
Annual base salary: $70,000 - $100,000
