We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Accountant with a strong academic background and hands-on experience in U.S. accounting standards. This role is essential to ensuring the financial health of the company, collaborating with management, and providing insights that go beyond traditional reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle accounting management. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Account reconciliations.
- Accounts payable, payments management and claims follow-up.
- Financial KPI analysis and data-driven advisory.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and employee orientation processes.
- Manage employee records and maintain HR databases.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Address employee inquiries and concerns regarding HR policies.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Effective communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Active collaboration with management to achieve financial goals.
- Propose improvements and solutions proactively, without constant supervision.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance process of office supplies and equipment.
- Oversee the implementation of the office policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly responsible, organized, and punctual. Comfortable and professional on the phone.
