Job Description

  • Internship with our Client Accounting & Advisory Services team

Job Responsibilities, but not limited to

  • Assist in providing outsourced accounting services to clients across a variety of industries.
  • Prepare and maintain client financial records, including reconciliations, general ledgers, and financial reporting packages.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Collaborate with seniors and managers to deliver advisory services, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, and forecasting.
  • Work with cloud-based accounting platforms and related technology to deliver client services efficiently.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and ensure accuracy of records.
  • Gain exposure to advisory engagements such as process improvement, financial planning, and system implementations.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, and client service.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • In pursuance of Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience

  • Experience in Public Accounting preferred, but not required

Software

  • Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience in the use of various assurance applications and research tools, as is appropriate for this level

Other Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present, both verbally and in writing

  • Strong technical accounting/auditing skills with proficiency in US GAAP and GAAS

  • Passionate about providing high level of client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

  • Ability to work well independently, but also work well with others
