Job Type: Evaluation to Hire

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Overview: Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily financial operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in general accounting or bookkeeping who enjoys organized, accurate work in a team-focused office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Perform collections and follow-ups on outstanding accounts

• Handle purchase orders, maintain project folders, and prepare sales folders

• Enter and maintain data using Excel and accounting software

• Organize and file accurate financial records and documentation

• Assist the accounting team with administrative support as needed

Requirements

• Background in bookkeeping, accounting, or related coursework

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Experience with accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable performing basic financial math and business calculations

• Ability to pass basic math, spelling, and alphabetizing assessments

• Ten-key by touch experience is a plus

• Comfortable working in an office within a manufacturing environment

• Must be able to work in a smoke-free and fragrance-free office
