Job Summary:
The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth daily operations related to employee records, recruitment, benefits, and compliance. This role assists in coordinating HR processes, maintaining personnel files, and serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assists with the recruitment process, including scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.
- Maintains and updates employee records in HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Processes new hire paperwork and supports onboarding procedures.
- Assists with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Supports payroll processing by gathering and verifying employee data.
- Prepares HR-related reports and documentation as needed.
- Responds to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assists in coordinating training programs, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Provides general administrative support to the HR team, including filing, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative role.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Bilingual – Spanish / English required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
