Purpose
The Senior Sales Representative is responsible for driving company sales by continually identifying new sales opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships. The Senior Sales Representative will have a broad knowledge of the customer and business knowledge to fully articulate the strengths and limitations of The Companys products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and complete appropriate territory business plan for optimal activity
- Responsible for leading the Sales Representatives in developing sales pipelines
- Serve as a mentor to the Sales Representatives and assist in training regarding effective delivery solutions
- Understand and use approved promotional materials to support marketing message
- Create effective call plans that include who to contact, the frequency, and what products to focus on for each call
- Employ effective selling model and techniques aligning to current strategies set forth by Area Vice President
- Maintain and update an organized agenda detailing quotas, territory analysis, and results reports
- Study sales volume and industry trends to understand how to access the market and gain customer interest
- Work quickly to solve customer complaints to retain business and build the companys reputation
- Regularly visit exiting accounts to maintain professional business relationships
- Research and cold call to identify potential customers and to find out their needs
- Encourage teamwork within the sales team and be an example to other sales professionals
- Stay current with industry trends, monitor competition, and learn merchandising techniques to improve performance
- Create and deliver sales presentations that are compelling, accurate and informative
- Maintain a working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 1271, FDA 21 CFR 820, AATB standards, ISO Standards, cGMP/CGTP, other relevant regulations/standards, and internal organizational policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain acceptable attendance and punctuality for scheduled work hours and meetings. Ensure completion of assigned tasks and responsibilities within defined timeframes
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during weekdays or weekends with reasonable advance notice to support business/operational needs when necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, Sales and Marketing or related field required
- At least 2-5 year(s) of experience in a sales position
- Bachelors degree may be substituted to meet up to 4 years of experience requirements
- Clearance of favorable background investigation required
