Job DescriptionLocation: Riviera BeachPay rate: $18.00 an hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Forklifts: Safely drive forklifts to transport goods around warehouses, factories, and construction sites.
- Loading and Unloading: Unload deliveries from trucks and stack boxes or materials for storage or shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to minimize workplace hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and report any issues to supervisors.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification and, in some cases, a driver’s license.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts or other industrial vehicles is often preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with the job.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure safe handling of materials and compliance with safety standards.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure safety during operations.
