Job Description
We are looking for a full-time Luxury Furniture Sales Representative to join our team at the DutchCrafters showroom located at 3709 N Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota. In this role, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience while focusing on meeting and achieving revenue targets.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and educate them on DutchCrafters furniture to help them find the right pieces for their needs.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service throughout the sales process.
- Convert leads through timely follow-up and communication to meet sales targets and KPIs.
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to support company objectives and obtain product information.
- Participate in community marketing events and coordinate promotional activities.
- Stay current on product knowledge, furniture styles, materials, and finishes.
- Maintain showroom cleanliness and complete other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the home furnishings or design industry.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a strong focus on achieving sales goals.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google tools, internet applications, and databases. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
- High school diploma required.
- Must be able to lift and move furniture up to 40 pounds while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays is required.
Performance Expectations
Results will be measured by our customers' feedback and experience, the timely, accurate completion of operational duties, and the ability to meet key performance indicators, including revenue and profitability targets.
Physical Environment
The work environment is a climate-controlled retail showroom. Employees will spend some of their workday on their feet, walking and standing while assisting customers. The role also requires frequent interaction with customers and frequent use of computers and telephones. Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base compensation of $19.00/hour with eligibility to earn monthly team bonuses of up to $1000 as well as uncapped commission based on earned revenues.
DutchCrafters' benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance that begin on the first of the month after your first day of employment. We also offer a company 401(k) plan with an employer match, 16 PTO days after 90 days of employment, and a generous employee discount.
Hours
This is a full-time position with weekly hours ranging from 32-40 per week depending on seasonal needs. The hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. on Sunday. Workdays and hours will vary depending on schedule needs.
