PositionOverview:
TheAccountingManageris responsible foroverseeing the accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy,compliance,and efficiency in all accounting processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance,Accounting, Business Administration, ora relatedfield.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting (nonprofitexperience preferred).
- Solid knowledge ofaccounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
- Vendor/contractor managementexperience

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project managementskills.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, paymentschedulingand collection efforts
- Manage monthly accounting close process including reconciliation of bank statements and balance sheet accounts
- Assistin the preparation of financial statements and ad-hoc reports under the guidance of the CFO
- Support the annual CPA audit and Tax Return 990 process
- Document andmonitorfinancial processes and procedures to strengthen internal controls
- Implement andmaintaininternal controls to safeguard organizational assets
- Collaborate with Sr. Manager Revenue & Claims tomonitorand manage project budgets effectively
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
- Identifyopportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and accuracy to streamline procedures and systems
Physical Requirements
Must have the use of sensory skills to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public using telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, sit, stand, hear, use hands to fingers, handle, feel, or operate objects, and read and write English. Physical capability to effectively use and operatevarious itemsof office equipment, such as but not limited to a personal computer, calculator,copier, and fax machine.
Work ispredominantly indoorswithin a usually quiet to moderately noisy environment. A considerable amount of time is spent working/sitting in front of a computer. Must be able to lift, carry, and/or push articles weighing up to20 lbs.
